Budget and Delivery
What do I need to prepare before making an inquiry for a modular project?
A good modular quotation does not start with a sentence of "how much", but with the project type, area, drawings, budget, material grade, delivery location and installation boundaries. The clearer the information, the closer the plan will be to the real, feasible price.
Summary
This article is a modular project inquiry list for owners, designers and purchasers. It helps customers sort out basic information before contacting GODA, and also helps GODA quickly determine product scope, budget range, supplier selection and implementation path.
Keywords: Modular project inquiry; project quotation list; BOQ; floor plan upload; prefabricated interior budget
Start by describing the project type, location, and goals
The first step in a modular project is not to choose a product, but to state what the project is: a home, a hotel, an apartment, an office, a campsite, a commercial space, or a temporary building.
It is also necessary to indicate the country and city where the project is located, the area, the number of rooms, the number of users, the target delivery time and whether there is a local design/construction team.
Project type
House, hotel, apartment, office, camp, commercial or other.
Project scale
Area, number of rooms, number of users and floor conditions.
Project location
Country, city, transportation conditions and local installation resources.
The more complete the drawings, the closer the quote will be to reality.
Floor plans, elevations, renderings, on-site photos and dimensional information will all affect product configuration and budget judgments. Even if you don't have complete construction drawings, you can provide sketches, house plans or reference pictures first.
GODA's project design entry can start from the floor plan, first determine the space type, product scope and budget level, and then gradually enter the detailed plan.
You can start without complete drawings, but it must be clear whether this is an estimate, a program budget, or a producible quote.
The budget needs to be clearly stated together with the material grade
For projects of the same area, economical, standard and high-end models will have completely different materials, hardware, furniture and construction boundaries.只问总价,会让报价失去参考价值。
A better way is to give a budget range and explain whether the customer values speed, price, quality, environmental protection, appearance or maintenance more.
Fuzzy inquiry
There are only area and renderings, and the quotations vary greatly, and it is easy to repeat them later.
List inquiry
There are drawings, budgets, grades, delivery boundaries, and quotes are faster and more reliable.
Delivery boundaries determine who is responsible for the last mile
Cross-border modular projects must indicate where GODA is responsible: supply only, supply plus packaging, supply plus installation guidance, or include partial project management and maintenance of spare parts.
It is also necessary to confirm whether there is a local installation team, whether English installation manuals are required, whether spare parts packages are required, and whether remote video guidance and after-sales service are required.
Drawings, location, area, budget, time and target results.
Confirm architectural, interior, furniture, bathroom, kitchen and installation boundaries.
Output product list, budget range and supplier recommendations.
Enter BOQ, prototype, production, packaging, shipping and installation plans.
I don’t have a floor plan, can I make an enquiry?
Yes, but it can only determine the direction. It is recommended to provide at least a sketch, dimensions, reference pictures and target area.
What should I do if I don’t know how to fill in the budget?
You can fill in the range first, such as economical type, standard type or high configuration type, and GODA will give the corresponding product range.
Will you give a final quotation directly after the inquiry?
Usually the preliminary scope and budget path are given first, and then the executable quotation is entered after the drawings, materials and delivery boundaries are confirmed.
